A guide to working with IDFP Translation Services
We are aware that most translation projects usually have a tight deadline. If this is your first translation project, here is a guide to working with IDFP Translation Services that should help ensure smooth running of the project and that all deadlines are met.
1. Project evaluation and quotes
IDFP Translation Services will give quotes based on the:
- language combination
- technicality of the document
- type of vocabulary used
- type of electronic document required
- deadline.
There is a minimum charge on any type of work.
2. Confirmation
After discussing your requirements and agreeing on the rate, we will send you a confirmation by e-mail. On receipt of your approval, we will begin work on the translation.
3. Translation
It is crucial to maintain language consistency and any corporate terminology throughout the document. For this we will require reference documents or glossaries from you.
4. Quality control and job completion
When the translation is complete, we will ensure quality control by means of proofreading the content and setting a high standard of presentation. Once we are happy with the quality and accuracy of the translation, the final document will be sent to you in the format requested.
5. Payment
An invoice will be sent by e-mail upon job completion. Payment methods are individually discussed and we accept most forms of currency (preferably Euros or British Pounds). Payment is required within one month of invoice.
